Postpartum Spine Recovery

A milestone-based return to movement after birth that accounts for delivery, sleep, pelvic-floor symptoms, abdominal-wall function, and the demands of caring for a baby.

Postpartum recovery cannot be prescribed from the calendar alone. Vaginal birth, cesarean birth, perineal injury, blood loss, infection, pain, sleep, prior training, feeding demands, and available support all change the starting point.
