Sustained Posture and Tissue Creep

How connective tissues respond to held positions, what laboratory creep findings mean in real life, and how to use movement variation without becoming afraid of sitting or bending.

Ligaments, discs, joint capsules, and tendons are viscoelastic. When a constant load or position is held, their mechanical response changes gradually over time. This time-dependent deformation is called creep.
